Who controls the information
Ask Alex is the controller of information submitted through this service. For privacy requests, use the contact form or email Alex@AskAlex.life.
What is collected
When you submit an assessment, contact request, booking request, or private conversation message, Ask Alex may store your name, email, optional phone number, the information you choose to send, your consent choices, timestamps, and limited technical information used for abuse prevention.
Health-related information
You may voluntarily include information related to your health or lifestyle. The relevant forms require explicit consent before such information is submitted. Do not send information you do not want Alex to receive.
Why it is used
Your information is used to respond to your request, provide the coaching service you ask for, maintain your conversation history, arrange consultation requests, show account notifications in My Ask Alex, and protect the service from abuse. Health-related information you voluntarily submit is processed on the basis of your explicit consent.
Cookies and private account access
The public Ask Alex pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary session cookies are used when Alex signs into the administration dashboard and when a person signs into My Ask Alex. My Ask Alex uses a one-time email link to verify access; the sign-in token is stored only as a cryptographic hash and expires after 30 minutes.
Private conversation links
Conversation URLs contain a long random token. Anyone who obtains that URL may be able to view the conversation, so keep it private and do not forward it.
Retention and deletion
Personal data can be exported or permanently deleted from the private dashboard. The default retention setting is 730 days and can be changed by the administrator where appropriate.
Hosting and service providers
The site may rely on its hosting and email providers to process technical data needed to operate the service. This version does not require advertising trackers, social pixels, or third-party analytics.
Notification choices
Each request can opt in or out of email notifications. A verified My Ask Alex user can also switch email notifications on or off for active requests and bookings from their private space. Turning email off does not remove in-app notifications. Security emails needed to sign in to My Ask Alex may still be sent when requested.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, and you can withdraw consent for future processing of voluntarily submitted health-related information, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
